Sunday Salon: A Conversation with Philip Glass

Sunday, October 13 at 12:00 noon, join us in the Palm Room at the San Francisco Film Centre for what will be one of many Sunday salons, regular gatherings of prominent people from the worlds of film, literature, art, music and politics. We’re kicking off the Sunday Salon with composer Philip Glass and producer Tom Luddy on the art and process of composing music for film. On the occasion of our first Sunday Salon, the popular Cafe Desiree in the Film Centre will open to satisfy your cravings beginning at 11:00 am.

Our first salon is a copresentation with San Francisco Performances, which is presenting PHILIP ON FILM: KOYAANISQATSI AND SHORTS. These screenings will feature live music played by Philip Glass and the Philip Glass Ensemble. What a special treat! Come to the salon and then attend the screening.
