47TH San Francisco International Film Festival to Screen Love Me If You Dare at ZOOM! After Hours

The 47TH San Francisco International Film Festival’s (April 15 – April 29) ZOOM! After Hours screening and party on Monday, April 26 will feature the French film, LOVE ME IF YOU DARE. The screening will be at 7:00 pm at the AMC Kabuki 8 Theatres followed at 9:30 pm by the after hours party at one of San Francisco’s hottest new South of Market nightclubs, LOFT 11.

LOVE ME IF YOU DARE, the first feature from director Yann Samuel, is the story of two friends, Julien and Sophie, who begin a childhood game of “dare” which they carry with them into adulthood. As a young girl, Sophie, who is Polish, is constantly teased by classmates. Julien, whose mother is dying of cancer, comes to Sophie’s rescue and offers her a tin box, designed like a merry-go-round, as comfort.  To help ease the pain of their lives, the two begin a game of dare - whomever has the tin box must complete the dare devised by the other. The dares begin innocently enough, but soon become an obsession which leads to potentially dangerous results. When the film is over, the festivities continue at LOFT 11, located at 316 11TH Street (between Folsom and Harrison). The evening’s entertainment will be driven by hip DJs, dancing and fueled by delectable treats and drinks. Tickets for ZOOM! After Hours (film and party) are $55 each/$45 for SFFS members.

ZOOM! After Hours is sponsored by  Delta Air Lines.
